Overview

​We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in social work and mental health counseling, with a focus on providing high-quality care to children and their families. This role involves working collaboratively with clients to assess their needs, develop treatment plans, and provide ongoing support.

  • Referrals are continuously being made internally by other therapists at Therapy4Kidz, in addition to the referrals you generate as an independent contractor (1099).

  • Pay: Reimbursement based on number of clients seen – up to $58,000 - $100,000

  • Flexible schedule – but must meet needs of clients schedules (minimum of 20-25 per week).

  • Choose your own hours.

Duties

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans.

  • Provide clinical counseling and support to clients, utilizing evidence-based practices. Such as: CBT, DBT, EMDR, and Play Therapy.

  • Manage casework effectively, ensuring that clients receive appropriate services and resources.

  • Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care for clients, including referrals to other services as needed.

  • Collect and analyze data related to client progress and outcomes.

  • Stay informed about current trends in social work, mental health counseling, and medical terminology.

  • Provide support and guidance to families, particularly those with children experiencing emotional or behavioral challenges.

Requirements 

  • Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) or a Master's degree in Clinical Professional Counseling (MC) from an accredited institution.

  • Current state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) .

  • Strong skills in social work practices, case management, patient assessment, and clinical counseling.

  • Familiarity with medical terminology and documentation standards.

  • Experience working with children is mandatory.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.

  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to ethical standards in practice.

  • Proficiency in diagnostic evaluation.​​

  • Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

  • Pay: $50.00 - $68.00 per hour

  • Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week

  • Schedule: Choose your own hours with a 20-25 client per week minimum

  • Work Location: In person
